If you have a dishwasher at home, you have probably wondered more than once: how to properly wash dishes in the dishwasher and use special detergents.

All dishwashers made in Europe wash in the same way, on the same program ECO-50 they should wash according to class A. If your device is made by a European manufacturer, this means that this modification under the ECO-50 program should wash perfectly regardless of the place (country) of production.

The quality of washing dishes in the dishwasher depends on 4 factors:

– chemistry (detergents);
– mechanics (water pressure);
– time;
– temperature.

All these factors are closely interrelated. If the manufacturer of household appliances promises that washing dishes will take place at a temperature of 50 degrees, then in reality it will be so. If the company that manufactures these devices states that the washing will be carried out for 2 hours, then it will be exactly the same in Europe, Asia, and any other part of the world.

There is still such a factor as water pressure in the dishwasher. For each manufacturer, it is approximately the same and does not differ much depending on the brand and model for home use. And the only factor that cannot be influenced by the company that produces the equipment is chemistry, that is, the means that we use regularly to wash plates, pans, pots, etc.

For example, if there is insufficient pressure in the machine, we can compensate for it either with detergents or temperature. And if it seems to you that your technique does not wash the way you want, we will help to fix it.

How to use detergents to wash dishes in the dishwasher with high quality

All means and powders, and tablets – must be put in a specially designed compartment. When the temperature reaches a certain level, the compartment opens and the dishwasher “throws” the detergent inside the chamber and immediately begins to “work”. In this case, all the properties of the chemistry are preserved, which will bring the maximum effect. If you chose another place for them, for example – the bottom of the machine, then the cold water that first gets inside the unit simply destroys their properties even before the water heats up. And the quality of washing will remain at a low level.

There is one exception, the so-called tablets in the shell, which are produced by different manufacturers. The essence is that they use a special shell very similar to paraffin, and as soon as the water temperature begins to rise, the film begins to gradually dissolve. The last to be destroyed is the film containing the rinse aid. Such tablets do not necessarily need to be put in a special compartment, although the price of such a tool is much higher.

Important! Any detergent, except for tablets in a special shell, must be placed in a specially designated place in the dishwasher.

In fact, chemicals are not as important as they might seem. Mechanical impact, water temperature, and washing time are able to wash the dishes, but there is one important detail. A number of different contaminants (including certain microbes) are destroyed only by the chemical properties of detergents. Therefore, it is highly recommended not to use the dishwasher without special means.

Wet dishes do not mean that the dishwasher is not working properly, it is the fault of poor quality rinse aid (possibly incorrect dosage) or its counterfeit.
